Cory Berg comes to Front Range Flight School after 15 years of aviation service in the United States Air Force. He obtained his Private Pilot's License during his Senior year in college and then joined the Air Force where he started out his career as a KC-135 Stratotanker navigator. He later attended Undergraduate Pilot Training and became a C-17 Globemaster III pilot, flying combat and humanitarian missions all around the world. He also was an Evaluator Pilot at the Air Force's only C-17 Formal Training unit where he provided instruction and evaluations in everything from Air to Air Refueling to Combat Assault Landings. Throughout his career, he has flown the KC-135, C-17, T-6 and the T-1. His time as a C-17 Instructor Pilot instilled in him a passion for teaching and he enjoys seeing the progression pilots make throughout their training.
Outside of flying Cory enjoys hiking, skiing and being with family.
